Testimonials
I have realized that using these pillars in my everyday life is so important. I am inspired to the point that when I get in the car on the way home, I tell my mom and dad everything I have learned in becoming a leader after each pillar session.

—
The Solomon Leadership Program has helped me the most with my communication skills. My mentor pushed me to speak up when I had something to say and helped me when I had difficulty formulating what was on my mind.
—
The Solomon Leadership Program has been a journey, strengthening my moral compass, enriching my practical knowledge through mentorship, and surrounding me with a community of like-minded peers.
—
The Solomon Program has taught me the importance of self-value and staying true to yourself. You cannot lead others before learning to lead yourself.
—
Something my group discussed significantly throughout the duration of the program is that a key factor in being a leader is having good judgment. It does not matter how good your initial idea is; without making the right decisions, further down the line, you will not succeed. Judgment is a key factor in determining whether you succeed in any avenue in life.
—
Throughout the program, my confidence skyrocketed. I became more confident in who I am as a person and my decisions and learned to trust myself
—
I started to set bigger, more important goals that went beyond personal success and included making a difference in my community and school.
—
The program has given me a greater sense of purpose and honesty in my approach to leadership. I’ve learned that effective leadership is about serving people with honesty and interest rather than just gaining positions of power or influence.
—
My judgment has matured by leaps and bounds since I joined Solomon. I have seen myself taking longer to make decisions and really looking over my choices carefully. I find myself thinking with more clarity, thinking not just of myself but those around me and how my choices will affect them.
—
Participating in the Solomon Program inspired me to follow through and apply lessons to my daily life. I have learned to find appreciation for others’ differences, to speak up about my core values, and to find a clear purpose so that I can be persistent in my life.
—
I learned the power and importance of organization—the value of having a system built on values, morals, clear steps, and effective operations. My perspective has also shifted to one of 'I can do it if I push through,' and I developed a mindset of perseverance in the face of obstacles. Lastly, I gained a deeper appreciation for those around me and a newfound respect for what they do.
—
Nothing is comparable to the one-on-one conversations I got to have with my mentors.
—
I now approach problems and challenges with a different mindset, using the pillars we learned to guide me.
—
There was a specific moment when I became inspired to take action. It was a very real “lightbulb” moment in which I knew that I needed to do something to make my dream become reality.
—
Through the course of the Solomon Leadership Program I have learned many valuable lessons that have influenced the way I live my life. I have learned that change within ourselves takes character, that learning to understand others’ points of view takes tolerance, failing spectacularly involves persistence and perseverance, and asking for help only empowers us. My self reflection of all these aspects, and the application of the principles learned through the course, will lead me to be a successful leader.
—Karla Perez, Senior, Santaluces Community High School
This program has changed my life, because I think differently about decisions and just lead a more healthy and more morally righteous life.
—Joey Berg, Junior, The Benjamin School
The 2018- 2019 Solomon Leadership Program was most influential, and helped to ensure that I am the best leader that I can possibly be. The Pillars were a great stepping stone that aided in reaffirming beliefs, as well as create new perspectives and outlooks that I had never thought of. They also helped embark on meaningful conversation amongst my mentor and my fellow mentees. I am extremely thankful to have been given this once in a lifetime opportunity to learn and connect with my mentor and the other leaders of the future.
—Chad Walker, Junior, Palm Beach Gardens High School
The Solomon Leadership Program has been a major influence on my life. The lessons I have learned in this program have helped me make more informed decisions in my personal life, as well as help improve my leadership qualities and my future as a leader. Without the major influence of all eight leadership pillars, the great guest speakers, and especially my great mentor, General Silverman, my life in the past six months might be dramatically different.
—Maxime Touboul, Junior, Suncoast Community High School
Thanks to this program, I am making long lasting connections with industry professionals who can aid me in my journey of life and in my future endeavors. This program, and all the mentors in it, have given the mentees a significant partner and friend who can help them through their life in times of trouble, and I find this to be especially influential to my growth, both as a student and as a person.
—William Rivera, Senior, Suncoast Community High School

The Solomon Program has become a big part of my life, and it will stay with me through my future days. From my mentors, the other mentees, and the speakers, I learned so much more than I ever could have by myself. That’s why, I believe, that learning the 8 pillars of the Solomon Program are the most important things to become an outstanding leader, and how to improve yourself even when not leading.

Thank you for all the materials, books, and beautiful folders. I’ve received a folder like that after I finished my medical residency at Indiana University. They gave those to the doctors. Two words- class act! Well, two more- extreme generosity! On many levels.

The Peres Leadership Program helped Tal enhance her leadership skills in multiple ways.
